Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage

planet.” The therapist performs the massage with her feet, while holding on to overhead parallel bars for balance and leverage, thus using the full weight of her body to impact the deeper muscle layers. Ashiatsu is appropriate for those who prefer broad and deep tissue massage, and is particularly effective on chronic shortened muscles of the back as well as gluteal and legs.
Ashi-Thai Bodywork
This modality is also called Thai Yoga Massage since the therapist maneuvers your limbs into deep relaxing stretches. Barefoot compression of muscle tissue is applied throughout the session, helping to release spasm, muscle contraction and tension, always working within your perfect amount of pressure. This is a great technique for athletes, done while fully clothed.
